Testimonials

Saydat posing for the Camera at the hub after class

I want to be a soldier and I did not think I needed to know how the internet works, but now I do and I know why. It is a great tool for communication today and I am amazed at how much useful information I can retrieve.

I thought it was a joke when my mom signed me up for just two days of classes, I never thought I would learn so much, much less learning about animation which is my field of interest.

At first, I was scared when my parents left, because this would be my first time away from home. Later, I got over it when I realized that everybody here was slowly becoming my family.

  • My Facilitator Experience at the Coding Summer Camp 3.0 – Oluwaseyi
It’s a privilege to be part of the camp as a facilitator. It was an opportunity to impact knowledge on the young ones and also learn from them. My one-week experience with the kids was wonderful; we learned T-shirt print in my class and made a banner for the hub. I will always be glad to be part of the summer camp. It has changed my orientation about summer holidays, that kids can learn other things, especially trades, in a (more…)

Now, anyone who knows me can say one thing about me, and it’s that i loathed dancing, and i could not break a step to save my life. What was i to do now? The dilemma came. I could not refuse the person that asked me, and i could not dance.
  • My 2nd Summer Camp experience – Rita
Hello, my name is Rita. I am 10 years old. This is my second summer camp at Uwani Hub. My dad and mom dropped my sister and me off on a set day for arrival. In the following days we were introduced to Fashion designing, Photography, T-shirt making, and other DIY (more…)
